back into the cyber world

We are now the proud owners of an apple computer. There are still a few things that I haven't learned how to do yet. We definitely need a new keyboard. This one is in spanish and its one of those really small ones.   OH THE JOYS OF THE LEARNING CURVE!!!
Of course Shelby is already up to speed on the new computer, and she is loving it.I think I will need to get a crash course from her before she goes back to school from Easter break. Why is it that teenagers are always so much faster at learning the computer than the parents. I ask myself this quite often. You would think I would learn by now.
Easter was great, and I was excited to see our little grandchildren run  to pick up all the eggs that the Easter Bunny had left. It just seems like yesterday, when our own kids were all excited about finding their baskets. Easter is so much more to me than it used to be. Really understanding the resserection  has brought me to a deeper understanding of all that Jesus did for us. I have been taking an adult religion class on Tuesday mornings again. I find it so enjoyable , that I look forward to Tuesdays now. We are studying a book by Richard D. Scott, called Peace, Joy and Happiness. It is so much more than just a book. I am learning so much about myself  by reading this book. It has really given me more things to think about. Not that I know everything about finding or having Peace, Joy and Happiness, but I am learning a lot about it. I also get to see my sweet sister in law, Melissa at the same time.
The best news is that our newest grandson was born on Wed. march 19th and weighed 9 lbs 3 ounces and was 20 inches long. He is beautiful and his mommy is doing great. His big brother seems to like him a lot and is doing pretty good at adjusting to his little brothers schedule.  We have been helping Rachel out with the duties of the house while she is adjusting to Wyatt William OWENS.  I don't seem to be able to keep my hands off him. And the very proud dad, Josh is getting very little sleep, but still manages to get to work. We love our ever growing family so much, and just wish all the grandkids lived close to us.
Scott and Ashley were down for the spring break, and got to see Wyatt shortly after birth. It was fun to have them home for a week. They will be busy with school this year, Ashley will be graduating in MAY, and continuing this summer with her master's in elementary education, to be a teacher. Scott is continuing on the path to becoming a dentist. He is going to study for the DAT this summer and take it as soon as he can. Good luck with that Scott. WE all know that you can do it!!!
Everyone is doing fine and it  seems like we have all returned to good health again. Thank goodness, that flu stuff really knocked us down, but we are all doing great now. Everyday I thank my Father in Heaven for he has given me so much to be thankful for.  I know that I don't get up to bear my testimony very often, it is so emotional for me, no one would  be able to understand me. But I do have a testimony of the gospel, and I am more and more thankful for that testimony each and every day. And maybe, soon I will be better at this blogging thing, if I keep asking for help from my family. I just love them!!!!

What to do?

Its Saturday and normally I would be running around here trying to get everything done that I didn't do during the week. This week was typical, busy and full of daily activities. So I have laundry to finish, grocery shop and general pick up before Sunday when we have family dinner.
I always have more stuff on my list and it depends on how much energy I have to complete them.
We are still limping along with this stupid computer that works sometimes and sometimes not work. Scott is helping us with the purchase of a new computer. So we are sort of at his whim, with school and whatever else he does, he hasn't gotten back to us yet. So I am on hold, until we can get hooked up.
Spring is coming and the flowers in the yard are looking good, but I know that I must spend more time out there to get things the way I want them. I really like working in the yard, but I have to do it, alittle at time because my back gets to sore. Gosh, sometimes I wish I was 20 again. I think we don't know just how good life is when we are living it. What I mean is when you are 20 you just can't wait to live life, and sometimes I think we are in much to much of a hurry to get through it. Looking back, I don't thinK I would change all that much, but I do wish there could have been more time. It seems there is never enough of that. So Enjoy every moment!
I am starting to scrapbook more often now, I really enjoy that! I have so much to do and I just have to organize myself better so I can get more done. This week I will be making 5 blankets for our newest grandson Wyatt. He will be here Wed. March 19, or at least thats the day the drs. say it will happen(they are inducing) And not a minutes too soon. Rachel seems to have blossomed with this pregnancy. She is a great mother and Josh is lucky to have her. She never ceases to amaze me with all that she does.
I guess I should go live life. I have much to do today and I am not feeling it yet?
